6:40am Awake, happy and hungry.
I had to take the trashcan to the curb and since it was almost time for the first school bus to come by we waited outside so I could wave. The driver and some children waved back to me.
I ran up and down our dead end street for a total of 25 minutes only stopping to wave bye to Mommy as she drove off honking her horn for me. I waved to a second school bus and they waved back.
I have been eating like a little piggie for many days. I should start putting on some weight if I keep this up. In four hours I had two small bowls of grits, 2 pieces of raisin toast, a small box of raisins, left over chicken noodle soup and left over Chinese food. I also had the three Chinese fortune cookies that I found in the silverware drawer. Barbara was saving them for me to have as three separate treats, but as soon as I saw them, they were all going to be eaten right then.
I played outside until I got tired. Soon after coming inside I got my fingers caught in an end table and Barbara had to get me loose. I did not bleed or bruise them but it hurt and I cried. I fell asleep while Barbara held me. That was at 10am.
When I woke up we could see that two of my little fingers had red marks on them from my getting them stuck in the end table, but those marks will be gone in a day.
I gobbled down more food while I played in the backyard. Barbara weighed me: 28.7 pounds. That is the most I have ever weighed.
Me playing not knowing I was being observed.
The weather was perfect today and I was a happy joyful boy all day...
... maybe because I was outside most of the day clear up to twilight.
I don't think I whined any today. I had no reason to whine, I got to do everything I wanted.
It was starting to rain and I was not in any hurry to come inside.
Oh, this was scary.. to Barbara, not me: Barbara pulled my highchair over by the breakfast table and opened the tray so she would be able to lift me up and slide me in when she had dinner ready. She went into the kitchen to finish preparing dinner. In a minute she looked back and saw me just as I slid into the highchair.... I had pulled out a breakfast room chair, climbed up, climbed onto the highchair tray, put my feet in the chair and turned to sit down. Thank goodness I have good balance. I was told not to do that again.... please!
I have added a new word to my vocabulary: poop. I am interested in what is in my diaper. Maybe I am going to be ready to use the potty soon. Mimz has shown me how I will use the toilet. The only thing... I do not mind wearing a wet or dirty diaper. I run when I realize my diaper is going to be changed.
