***************Important news: I have just discovered that there is a limit to free photo space on these blogs and I have reached it. That means I must establish a new blog. So come back soon to get the new address.************
Grandma drove in from the lake so she could be here at 8am to care for me so Mommy could go to work. She did ProLawn work at the same time. I woke up just as Mommy closed the backdoor, so Grandma and I hurried out the front door, so I could intercept her and say, "Have a great day, Mommy." Mommy told me to have a great day too. That is part of our normal routine.
I wanted to play in Grandma's car so she sat in the backseat and I pretended to drive her to the mall, my school, and to the park. We ate breakfast outside. Next I wanted us to do some work. Grandma had just a few more staples to removed from the upstairs floor so I got my hammer and helped. Next I wanted to sit on Grandma's lap while we watched the television show Doc McStuffins. I was somewhat noisy while Grandma was on the phone doing ProLawn work, but I told her I was being quiet... at least I was trying to be quiet. We then ran some errands and ended up at Mommy's office at 12:30 so Mommy could take care of me the rest of the day. Mommy worked half of Veterans Day so she was entitled to half a day off today.
I helped Mommy at work for ten minutes and then she decided it was best if we left. They are very very busy at work this week and my being there was not helping, so we went home. We played outside most of the afternoon pretending to mow and blow and I rode my scooter. I kept wishing Luke would come outside but he didn't.

I spent the night with Mimz so Daddy could go to work early.
I started the morning asking for stories about Penny the lady firefighter. Poor Mimz, her voice is still not 100 percent but I can't help but ask for her to tell me stories. I do love to hear them.
I have a new favorite cereal. I'm sharing with Monk Monk.

These are some of the books GGF John brought home from his library for me. I want to read the tractor one first.
Daddy bought me to Mommy's home around 7:30pm. I did not go to sleep until 10:30, which is late for me now.

GGF John had breakfast at the VFW buildilng with about forty other vetreans and then he volunteered at the library book store. He sold $82 worth of books. Books sell for 25 cents, 50 cents, or a dollar. GGM Avis and Barbara touched up the paint in a few places on walls and washed a couple of windows. They decided to fix Thanksgiving dinner when they finish eating the fried chicken. Since it is just the three of them, they can have it any day and then start enjoying the leftovers. The rest of their day was spent resting, reading, and watching football. Grandma got an early Christmas gift: Barbara's Kindle. Since Barbara has an iPad she can read Kindle books on it.
I love to get the mail and always remember to say thank you.
Daddy and I visited a family who have a five-year-old boy named Mason.
There was a little girl there and I was a gentleman and helped her up.
I have always liked babies.
Austin Case, my first cousin once removed, from Chattanooga, Tennessee, got a scholarship to play lacrosse at Furman University in South Carolina. Austin, is on the far left in this picture taken at Dartmouth College when he was there to play in a lacrosse game and we were on vacation going to Vermont to see Grammie and Bubba.

Daddy said I was being a very good boy. There was a third little boy there and we had a blast. We were runing around and playing hard.

Early this morning GGF John, GGM Avis, and Barbara raked and blew leaves. This is the third time this autumn my great grandparents have tackled this job.
They fill this large tarp with as many leaves as it will hold...
Then GGF John hauls it to the back of the yard where it gets to steep to go any farther.
The rock in this area is finished. Lots of the trees are oaks with hugh leaves. It takes lots of work to clear off all the leaves. My great grandparents are 88 and 83 years old and still able to do the work.
Mimz and I had a big project to work on this morning.
We put together a play house for me.All finished...
Time for me to start playing.
I'll start having it be a fire station.
I watched this butterfly for thirty minutes. I touched it twice and ran after it when it would fly.
I asked Mimz to tell me stories about Penny the lady firefighter on Fireman Sam. She told me so many stories she was worn out and she told me no more stories about Penny. I got mad and cried and threw a little fit before falling asleep for a nap. When I woke up I crawled into Mimz' lap and said I wanted a story about a lady firefighter. Mimz asked me what her name was and I said, "No name, Mimz, just a lady firefighter. I knew Mimz would not tell anymore Penny stories so I just dropped the name. Pretty smart of me I thought.
Barbara has refused to tell more stories about socks, people falling down and needing a doctor, and Captain Hook. I frequently ask what color socks someone in the story is wearing. I have always been interested in socks and shoes.

I cried again today when Mimz dropped me off at school. Nobody, including me, knows why I am so opposed to going to school, but after I get into my classroom I am just fine. I wanted to look good for my school picture, which was taken today so I wore my new blue cowboy shirt and blue jeans.
Mommy came to my school on her lunch hour so she could look at the pictures. She bought the disk that had all the pictures on it. There were some cute ones. (I'll put one or more on here when it is available to me.)
Mommy wanted to talk to my teacher about my not wanting to come to school, but Miss Melody had to leave early today, so Mommy talked to the owner. Miss Amanda assured Mommy that I am happy at school and I am not misbehaving or having problems and I am not being bullied. She said at times I am quiet, but that is not a new thing for me. She said at times I open my mouth and out come these long sentences that impressed them and/or make them laugh. She did say it may just be a phase that may stop as quickly as it started.
Daddy picked me up from school and we played until Mimz got home and we all went out to eat. I wore my cowboy hat and everyone thought I was so cute. I ate a huge dinner of chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and corn. I ate so much that Daddy and Mimz had to laugh. Daddy had to go back to work, so I played with Mimz this evening and after several stories was asleep by 8:20pm.
Barbara had an easy but long drive home to Bella Vista. She has a bad cold but was not going to let that stop her from driving home.
She found Great Grandpa John working on a jigsaw puzzle. Grandma was playing Bookworm on the computer. This is the first time Barbara did not bring her computer so they will have a fun time figuring out how the three of them will share one computer.

First thing I said today was: "Is it daytime? I am just a little bit sleepy. Can I watch Jake (and the Neverland Pirates.) while I sleep?"
Mommy asked me to go tell Barbara something, I said, "Okay, I'm on it." Later Barbara asked me to take something to the recycle bin, I said, "I'm on it." Who know where I picked up that phrase.
Caillou, a boy on one of my television shows, was flying a kite. I told Barbara I wanted one for Christmas and that we needed to write a note. So wrote a letter to Santa. I also took Barbara that Mimz had already written a note. I am already enjoying Christmas this year.
I helped Barbara gather things for her to take to Arkansas and packed her car. I was playing with my scooter when my new neighbors, Luke and his baby sister Paisley, came outside. Luke is more outgoing than I am. He is seven months older than I am. We got along well.

I let him use my "blower" and he let me ride his tractor and hold one of his two 6-shooters.
This may have been the first time I have played with a gun. Luke's daddy is a policeman.
I liked Luke's tractor.
I also got to play on their golf cart. We played for about 30 minutes, then it was time for everyone to go home for lunch.
After lunch I played outside hoping Luke would come back outside but he did not.
In the middle of the afternoon Barbara drove me over to Mimz' home so Mimz could start enjoying me and so she could drive to the lake to start her vacation.
I asked Mimz if I could put on cowboy clothes and she was happy to help me change clothes.
I was happy with my look.
If I go anywhere with this hat on, I get comments about how cute I look. Aw shucks!

Mommy took a day of vacation today. I enjoy having her here. I helped fix scrambled eggs for my breakfast. Sometimes if I help with the cooking I eat better. I sometimes like hot sauce on my eggs and sometimes I don't.
Mommy dumped a load of warm clothes from the dryer on top of me and I enjoyed that.
I made the comment that: "Santa Claus won't get stuck in the mud. He flies over the ground." I am always thinking.
Normally I enjoy the ride to school. Today, almost as soon as we left home, I started whimpering that I did not want to see anybody. I said, "Let's turn around and go home." I could not give a reason. Barbara tried to entertain me during the trip and make me be happy, but I did not forget that I did not want to go to school. We made a mistake and forgot to bring my sneakers for me to change from cowboy boots to sneakers right before we got to school, so we stopped at Mimz' home to pick up a pair of sneakers there. Even Mimz could not make me happy. I cried really hard going into school.
While Barbara was changing me from cowboy boots to sneakers the school helper asked my teachers if it was okay to wear cowboy boots to school. The teachers said it was fine. Well, Barbara did not think that was right, so when she got home she got on-line and read the school policy about clothing. It clearly states that hard-soled cowboy boots are NOT allowed. Barbara is sure glad she went ahead and changed me to sneakers or it would be very hard in the future to get me to believe that I could not wear my boots to school. I would wear them every day if it was allowed.
Mommy picked me up from school and we went to Mimz' park for 30 minutes. I played on lots of the big boy pieces of playground equipment. Sophie gave me a haircut. Barbara forgot to ask for pictures, so there are none. My haircut is cute.
You can see my hair cut in this picture.
Mommy and Grandma went to a flooring store to discuss our flooring situation. The saleslady said it would be December 11th at the earliest before they could start installation and it would take two weeks. They have not made a deal yet, but are getting closer every day. There is really no hurry. We are managing to live quite comfortably downstairs.
A policeman and his family are moving in with Brad, our driveway neighbor, for a few months while their new home is being built. They have a 5 month old baby and a three-year-old boy name Luke who will be four in February. I hope we get to play together a bunch.
Since we will not be getting our new floor installed this month, Barbara is trying to work out a plan so she can go home to Arkansas for over a week.
PaPa flew to Nigeria today to work for a month.
Mommy dumped a load of warm clothes from the dryer on top of me and I enjoyed that.
There was a work truck parked in our dead end street. I wanted to know what the cones were all about.
The cones are almost as tall as I am! I got a haircut later today.I made the comment that: "Santa Claus won't get stuck in the mud. He flies over the ground." I am always thinking.

Today was Veterans Day. Thank you to all of our veterans, including my great grandfathers.
I went to sleep early and we all know that means I will be up early: 6am.
Today was a holiday for Mommy but she went to work for half the day because she had some work she wanted to get done. She will take that four hours off another day.
I was constipated even though I was taking a teaspoon of Merilax daily. It was afternoon before I got any relieve so most of the morning Barbara and I were concentrating on the problem. I was very happy the rest of the day.
A funny thing: Barbara was telling me I was a sweetie pie. I told her, "No, I am a little dickens."
Me playing with my screwdriver.
I danced along with some of the dances on the television show Dancing With The Stars. I have pretty good rhythm.
I think I started going to bed early, around 8pm, about the time Daylight Savings Time started. It gets dark about the time Mommy gets home from work and a couple of hours later, I am sleepy.

Sunday 11-11-12
Barbara was at the lake enjoying some peace and quite. Mommy and I played on her bed and slowly got around. We had the house windows all open because it was a beautiful day. Mommy enjoyed having me all to herself.
Mommy and I bought me three pairs of long pants size 3T and two shirts size 3T.
Bridget and Chris, Grandma, Grandpa, and Andy were in Norman for an OU volleyball match and football game on Saturday. This morning Bridget and Chris flew from Oklahoma City home to San Antonio. Grandpa drove Andy back to Dallas where he was working last week, then they drove home. They had a grand old time.
Mimz, Aunt Kathy, Daddy, and Uncle Scott had a good time at Lamar University and at the wedding they all went to.
Barbara came home in the afternoon. She had done some cooking at the lake so we will have some good food to eat this week.

I was asleep at 8:30pm and awake at 6am. Barbara told me stories until 7am. Then she let me wake up Mommy. Today was to be a day of work. We started by cleaning Mommy car. Then Mommy and I took Barbara's car to have the oil changed and the car washed.
It was nice outside so we deadheaded some flower bushes and put away my clean water toys.
we hung up the upstairs shower curtain.. We went to the grocery store. We had a feast for lunch, left over ground beef casserole, roasted chicken and a party pizza.
Fun in the tub.
I asked if I had a beard like Santa Claus. Next Mommy and I took a nap.
Mimz at Lamar University.
Bridget and Chris on OU campus before the volleyball match. The entire family walked around the campus showing it to Chris.
Bridget and Chris in the OU stadium. After the football game, all of the volleyball alumni girls and thier families went to the OU volleyball coaches home for a cookout. Everyone enjoyed the entire day.

I was awake before 6:30, which is before anyone else wants to get up. But this is my domain and what I say goes. Barbara had Mommy's lunch ready early and Mommy left for work early since we all were up early. Barbara was down in her back for a few hours this morning, so we mostly sat on the sofa and she told me story after story after story. She is surprised she hasn't gotten laryngitis. She would much rather read a book to me, but I like giving her a subject and she creates a story. We had eaten lunch before we turned on the television.
I wore my new Pirate Jake hoodie for two days and two nights even though it was too warm most of the time. This morning I agreed to take it off on one condition: I would throw it into the washing machine and as soon as it was dry I could put it back on.
Me playing quietly with all kinds of toys.
We played Tag in the backyard. We played Play Dough. We made a fire station and a tall building out of blocks. We played Hide and Seek.
Mommy and I played catch. I keep getting better at catching balls every day. Mommy also lets me rough house with her, which I really enjoy. I laugh so hard, I have a hard time standing up.
I made Barbara mad when I grabbed one of her feet while she was walking. I almost made her fall. I have been told over and over to not do that very thing. I went to Time Out and got a lecture on why I must not try to knock Barbara over.
I often ask what letter hing start with. I am very interested in letters.
Here I am smelling ginger.
Here I am smelling avocado.
I like helping run the juicer.
I helped make a ginger carrot soup for Mommy's dinner. I tasted it, but one taste was enough for me.
I wanted to hear some bedtime stories. But Barbara put her foot down. She would read me stories but not tell me stories.
Mimz and Aunt Kathy left today to spend the weekend visiting their old college, Lamar University and seeing some former college classmates.
Grandma, PaPa, Uncle Andy, Aunt B and Chris all drove to Norman, Oklahoma to attend alumni night at the volleyball game and to attend the OU vs Baylor football game tomorrow.

I slept from 8:15pm to 6:45am. After looking outside I said "It is day time." I wanted Barbara to tell me stories instead of fixing breakfast and lunches for Mommy and me so she had to try to do both at the same time. I sat on the kitchen counter and kept reminding her to keep telling the story.
I insisted on wearing my new Jake hoodie to school. I didn't care that I wore it all day yesterday. Big deal.
When Barbara picked me up from school she asked, "How was school?" I said, "Hannah was not there." But I did have a good day anyway. When Mommy asked me the say question, I gave her the same answer.
I wore Barbara out wanting to hear stories. We barely had the television on today and that was fine by me, as long as she would tell stories about Izzy, Captain Hook, shoes, socks, Mason, and Hannah, I was happy.
Me wearing my fireman's mask.
Mommy, Barbara, and I played a game on my play mats. We would say things like "Mason put your right foot on a yellow mat" or "Mommy hop to a green mat." I definitely know "left" and "right."
Mimz found out she has bronchitis and laryngitis. Hope she gets better soon.
I was asleep by 7:30pm and so was Barbara.

Mommy was disappointed that I was still asleep when she went to work. She remembered she had bought me a new hoodie that had Jake and Cubbie, the Neverland Pirates, on the front. Oh, how cute I looked. I wore it all day with my cowboy boots or I had on my fireman's outfit with fireman's boots. PaPa and Grandma came over for a short visit and PaPa always asks me to put on sneakers but I much prefer my boots.
I played outside putting out fires with the water hose. I got Barbara to play cowboys and chase around the yard. It was a beautiful day to play outside.
Grandma came back later in the afternoon so she would be here when two men came to meausre the floors and the stairs for wood floor installation. One of the men said if his little daugther had been a boy his name would have been Mason. I was wearing my fireman's uniform while they were here, that same man told me if he saw a fire when he was driving home he would call me. I said, "Okay."
Poor Mimz is still under the weather so I will stay with Mommy this evening and Daddy will get me tomorrow evening.

Today was the Presidential Election. I hoped for a good result. That means "Out with the old, in with the new."
I slept from 8pm to 7:30am. I woke up wanting to help Barbara do work and then I kept asking what next.
The plan was for Barbara to take me to the lake this morning so PaPa and I could go fishing. PaPa had to postpone that to Monday but PaPa did come to my home to see me. While he was here we gave him some chores that we could us his help with, like putting electrical plates back on the walls, replacing light bulbs, and putting a screen back on that Mommy knocked off when she was trying to get a lizard to go outside. We have had many windows open this week to help get rid of the new paint smell.
I played fireman outside with the water hose putting out fires, while Barbara cleaned up some of my outside toys. It is time to put them away for the winter. We played ALL day with no nap and no time outs either.
Mommy, Barbara, and I played fun games downstairs while they watched the election returns....
Oh what a sad day for this country.

First thing when I woke up I asked Mimz to tell me a story. She told me several. We had a nice discussion about what "serious" means. Mimz gave me examples of serious situations like it being very serious that we follow rules like always holding someones hand when walking in a parking lot.
When she would finish one example I would say, "What is another serious, Mimz." I was really listening and wanted more examples.
Mimz was getting laryngitis so it was hard on her voice and her mind so Daddy brought me home to Barbara so Mimz could take care of her voice.
Barbara and I had a busy day. We played with Play Dough and played catch before lunch and after lunch we told stories and read. One story, then one book... that was the deal. I want all stories... Barbara wants all books.
My lunch was the Lunchable that I was suppose to have for lunch tomorrow, but there will not be any school tomorrow because of the Presidential Election. A funny thing: I asked, "Where is the cookie?" There was none. I then told Barbara that "Mimz' Lunchable has a cookie in it."
Give me a fireman's helmet, fireman's boots, and a water hose and I will respond to the call to duty.
Putting out a fire in my castle.

Mommy came over to Daddy's apartment to play with me and watch Houston football. She told me some stories.
Mimz and I were watching Jake and the Neverland Pirates and there is a parrot on the show. Mimz asked me if it was like the bird where Great Grandmother lived. I said Great Grandmother does not live there. She lives in Heaven with Pops.
PaPa and Uncle Andy flew home from their fishing vacation in Florida.
Uncle Andy caught a tiny fish...
This is pretty funny. Kristan put two pictures together to show PaPa and Andy with their catch. I have not talked to Uncle Andy but I think he probably did catch something bigger than the puny fish.
Here is a picture of the newly painted walls upstairs. All the walls are this grey color except
for Mommy' craft room which is a pinkish purple. It is prettier than this picture shows.
PaPa and Grandma will pick out flooring this week.
