 I am such a lucky boy!  Santa Claus left me a truck at Mimz' home...

 I am an expert driver since I have had lots of practice driving my little car at Mommy's home.

I have on Pops hat in this picture.  I love this winter's weather... so far it has been nice enough that I can play outside every day. 

Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma had to work.  Barbara and Mimz were out of town so today I hung out with PaPa.  He fixed me grits with egg for breakfast.  We had fun doing guy stuff.

I did not want to stop washing the car, but PaPa said we had other jobs to do, so I agreed to turning off the water.  We cleaned the garage out, and we changed some lights out in the garage.  We did stop working to kick a soccer ball around.  We were outside all day.  What fun.  Generally PaPa cooks for me but today we went out to eat.  PaPa bought me a Happy Meal for lunch.  I guess I was having so much fun I forgot to take a nap.  When Grandma came home and it was getting dark outside I finally had to come inside.  I was not a happy camper about that and I was tired from no nap so I became a little cranky till I finally fell asleep at 6pm.  Daddy came to get me so I only slept a short time and was still not happy.  I am sure I finally got over my unhappiness.

 I have on my Christmas pajama's so I must have been getting ready for bed...

... maybe I thought I could sleep in Daddy's truck, which is one of my favorite places to be.

 It was a beautiful day, so Mimz and I played outside.  I wore my cowboy boots, of course,....

I worked this 16 piece puzzle with just a little help.  It will not be long before I can help GGM Avis and GGF John work their 1000 piece puzzles.

Mimz has an iPad that has Calliou on it, so now I can watch my favorite television show anytime, anywhere.
My cough is bad so I had to play inside.
I was not feeling my best.  At one point I crawled onto Mimz' lap, put my head down, and was asleep, just that quickly. Hope I feel better after my nap.

She asked me to wave to Barbara.  I did and said, "Hi Barbie!"
I am feeling better this evening.  Maybe the worst of my cold is over... we all hope!
Mimz said I have been so very good today.  That makes me feel good.

Grandma and PaPa babysat me today at their home.  I had another good breakfast of toast and sausage gravy and grits.  I ate everything.    I was a really good boy for them. I helped PaPa take down the Christmas decorations while Grandma did her office work.
I helped PaPa most of the day and played with my toys.  Grandma recorded Caillou for me to watch when it was time for me to take a nap.  I watched it twice, but I never fell asleep.  I finally decided to fall asleep just when Grandma was packing to bring me home.  She let me sleep for an hour and then I slept in the car till we got home.  Grandma needed to run to Walmart and Mommy and I went with her.  I was a good boy in the store and was ready to play when we got back home.

Everybody was so tired from yesterday that today was sorta a lounge around in your pj's kinda day.
Mommy and I had gone to bed at a normal time last night but Grandma, PaPa, Andy, Aunt Krissy, and Bridget stayed up till wee hours in the morning playing games.  PaPa fixed biscuts and sausage gravy and I gobbled that up for breakfast.  Then I spent the rest of the day playing with all my toys.  I know that when Barbara gets home we are going to have lots of fun with my new toys.  Finally it was time for Andy, Krissy and Bridget to start packing to head back to San Antonio.  PaPa and Grandma helped me pack up my new toys and put them in their car to bring home for me.  Everybody drove to my house and we unloaded the new toys.....(well eveybody unloaded but me, I fell asleep on the car ride home and mommy carried me to her bed to finish my nap).  When I woke up all the new toys were at my house and mommy and I played with them till it was time to go to bed.

I woke up at PaPa and Grandma's house and was not happy.

I just wanted Mommy to hold me. 

 Shortly I was ready to see what Santa Claus brought me while I was sleeping.... a kitchen with a grill.

I fixed breakfast for everyone and gave them lots of coffee. 
My big stocking was full of all sorts of fun things in my stocking.....bubbles, play dough, bath soap and sponge, letters and numbers to put on the refrigerator so I can learn what they are.
I played with my kitchen all morning fixing hamburgers and hot dogs for everyone until it was time to go to church.

Aunt Kristan helped me get dressed in my Christmas outfit so we could all go to church.  I looked very handsome and more importantly I behaved wonderfully at church.  After church Bridget and Mommy took me to Mimz' so I could open up my presents and see Daddy. 

 Santa came to Mimz' home with more gifts for me!  A pickup truck that is just my size...

 and books and puzzles....

and a U of T uniform and helmet!  Oh, what a lucky boy I am.

I stayed with Mimz and Daddy for the afternoon and then Daddy brought me back just in time to take a good nap before Christimas dinner was served.  I woke up just in time to eat.  After dinner I played more with all my toys.  I played well by myself while the adults played dominoes.  I tried to sit at the table a couple of times and play dominoes also but I got bored with that and went back to playing with my toys.  It was getting late so Mommy and I went upstairs to sleep while the rest of the gang stayed up way way late playing cards, talking and laughing.

I slept from 10pm to 8am except from 3am to 4:30am when I was coughing and congested and had a slight fever.  I woke up happy and stayed that way all day.

 I always had someone to play with, but mainly it was GGM Avis.

 I do love to be read to.

 I was dressed, ready to go visit Santa Claus and while I waited I rolled around on my play mats.

 Mommy, PaPa, and Bridget took me to have a talk with Santa.  I did not cry but I would not smile.  When asked if I would say "cheese" I said, "No."

 Waiting patiently to open presents.  Andy and Kristan finally arrived, we ate a quick dinner of Chicken Spaghetti, then it was time....

"Come on everyone, I have waited as long as I can!"

 When Bridget, Andy, and Kristan brought in their presents we had lots and lots of presents.

 Mommy and I sat on my play mats.  Everyone else had to sit on sofas and chairs.  Papa passed out the gifts.

I opened lots of presents and helped Mommy open hers.

I really enjoyed playing with the box full of trashed wrapping paper.

Mr. Potato Head was one I wanted to open and play with right then, but Mommy convinced me I needed to open the rest of my presents.

The most wonderful gift of the night was a scrapbook Grandma made Andy and Kristan of their engagement and parties and wedding.

I drove it all over Grandma and PaPa's home while everyone was cleaning up after we finished opening presents. Some of my gifts were a helmet and scooter, plasma car, kitchen, puzzles, books, blocks, Mr and Mrs Potato Head and a soccer ball.
Everyone played a game called Wits and Wagers.  I sat on Mommy's lap with my own pile of chips and moved them around like I was playing the game.  I fell asleep on her lap.  What a fun fun day!

I still have a cough and just a bit of a runny nose, but I feel great.  GGM and I have been playing since I woke up.  I still am not eating as much as I normally do.  I hope by Christmas I have my appetite back!

GGM, Barbara and I are packing to go to Grandma's home.  Well, it is sort of pack and play, and pack and play.  PaPa drove GGF downtown to see the Menil Collection at a museum.  Grandpa was disappointed because he wanted to see more painting and less artifacts.

 

Grandma and I took three pieces of bread out to the dock to feed the birds.

 

Lots of sea gulls came when we started throwing out the bread.

I got to open one gift, it was some Megablocks.  I know I have enough but this sack had different colors and shapes, even a car with wheels.  Everyone got down on the floor and played Megablocks with me.  I build a tower taller than I am, then I gleefully knocked it down.  

I have so many best friends here.  I want to play with everyone all at once.  I do not want anyone to leave my play area.

If I am hurt I still go to Barbara because she is the only person I can count on to give me sympathy no matter how slight the injury.  She says when I get just a bit older she will quit treating me like a little kid, but for now I am only two-years-old after all.

I had a thirty minute nap in the car and went strong until 10pm.  I was happy and from my actions you would never know I probably have a cold.
