My new blog is at http://glapmasonj3.blogspot.com
I will not post anything more on this blog because I have used up all of my free photo space.  If you have a problem getting to this blog, call Barbara, and she may then have to refer you to Grandma.

***************Important news:   I have just discovered that there is a limit to free photo space on these blogs and I have reached it.  That means I must establish a new blog.  So come back soon to get the new address.************

Grandma drove in from the lake so she could be here at 8am to care for me so Mommy could go to work.  She did ProLawn work at the same time.  I woke up just as Mommy closed the backdoor, so Grandma and I hurried out the front door, so I could intercept her and say, "Have a great day, Mommy."   Mommy told me to have a great day too.  That is part of our normal routine.

I wanted to play in Grandma's car so she sat in the backseat and I pretended to drive her to the mall, my school, and to the park.   We ate breakfast outside.  Next I wanted us to do some work.   Grandma had just a few more staples to removed from the upstairs floor so I got my hammer and helped.    Next I wanted to sit on Grandma's lap while we watched the television show Doc McStuffins.  I was somewhat noisy while Grandma was on the phone doing ProLawn work, but I told her I was being quiet... at least I was trying to be quiet.  We then ran some errands and ended up at Mommy's office at 12:30 so Mommy could take care of me the rest of the day.  Mommy worked half of Veterans Day so she was entitled to half a day off today.

I helped Mommy at work for ten minutes and then she decided it was best if we left.  They are very very busy at work this week and my being there was not helping, so we went home. We played outside most of the afternoon pretending to mow and blow and I rode my scooter.  I kept wishing Luke would come outside but he didn't.

I spent the night with Mimz so Daddy could go to work early.
I started the morning asking for stories about Penny the lady firefighter.  Poor Mimz, her voice is still not 100 percent but I can't help but ask for her to tell me stories.  I do love to hear them.

I have a new favorite cereal.  I'm sharing with Monk Monk.
These are some of the books GGF John brought home from his library for me.  I want to read the tractor one first.
Daddy bought me to Mommy's home around 7:30pm.  I did not go to sleep until 10:30, which is late for me now.

Daddy played golf this morning so I spent the morning with Mommy.  After golf Daddy came over and we watched the Houston Texans football team win in overtime.  After my nap we went over to Mimz' home and Daddy cooked on the grill for us.   I ate a good dinner and played nicely until bedtime.

GGF John had breakfast at the VFW buildilng with about forty other vetreans and then he volunteered at the library book store.  He sold $82 worth of books.  Books sell for 25 cents, 50 cents, or a dollar.  GGM Avis and Barbara touched up the paint in a few places on walls and washed a couple of windows.  They decided to fix Thanksgiving dinner when they finish eating the fried chicken.  Since it is just the three of them, they can have it any day and then start enjoying the leftovers. The rest of their day was spent resting, reading, and watching football.  Grandma got an early Christmas gift:  Barbara's Kindle.  Since Barbara has an iPad she can read Kindle books on it.

I love to get the mail and always remember to say thank you.
Daddy and I visited a family who have a five-year-old boy named Mason.
Daddy said I was being a very good boy.  There was a third little boy there and we had a blast.  We were runing around and playing hard.

There was a little girl there and I was a gentleman and helped her up.
I have always liked babies.

Austin Case, my first cousin once removed, from Chattanooga, Tennessee, got a scholarship to play lacrosse at Furman University in South Carolina.  Austin, is on the far left in this picture taken at Dartmouth College when he was there to play in a lacrosse game and we were on vacation going to Vermont to see Grammie and Bubba.

Early this morning GGF John, GGM Avis, and Barbara raked and blew leaves.  This is the third time this autumn my great grandparents have tackled this job.

They fill this large tarp with as many leaves as it will hold...
Then GGF John hauls it to the back of the yard where it gets to steep to go any farther.
The rock in this area is finished.  Lots of the trees are oaks with hugh leaves.  It takes lots of work to clear off all the leaves.  My great grandparents are 88 and 83 years old and still able to do the work.

Mimz and I had a big project to work on this morning.
We put together a play house for me.
All finished...
Time for me to start playing.
I'll start having it be a fire station.
I watched this butterfly for thirty minutes.  I touched it twice and ran after it when it would fly.

I asked Mimz to tell me stories about Penny the lady firefighter on Fireman Sam.  She told me so many stories she was worn out and she told me no more stories about Penny.  I got mad and cried and threw a little fit before falling asleep for a nap.  When I woke up I crawled into Mimz' lap and said I wanted a story about a lady firefighter.  Mimz asked me what her name was and I said, "No name, Mimz, just a lady firefighter.  I knew Mimz would not tell anymore Penny stories so I just dropped the name.  Pretty smart of me I thought.
Barbara has refused to tell more stories about socks, people falling down and needing a doctor, and Captain Hook.   I frequently ask what color socks someone in the story is wearing.  I have always been interested in socks and shoes.

I cried again today when Mimz dropped me off at school.   Nobody, including me, knows why I am so opposed to going to school, but after I get into my classroom I am just fine.  I wanted to look good for my school picture, which was taken today so I wore my new blue cowboy shirt and blue jeans.

Mommy came to my school on her lunch hour so she could look at the pictures.  She bought the disk that had all the pictures on it.   There were some cute ones.  (I'll put one or more on here when it is available to me.)

Mommy wanted to talk to my teacher about my not wanting to come to school, but Miss Melody had to leave early today, so Mommy talked to the owner.  Miss Amanda assured Mommy that I am happy at school and I am not misbehaving or having problems and I am not being bullied.  She said at times I am quiet, but that is not a new thing for me.  She said at times I open my mouth and out come these long sentences that impressed them and/or make them laugh.  She did say it may just be a phase that may stop as quickly as it started.

Daddy picked me up from school and we played until Mimz got home and we all went out to eat.  I wore my cowboy hat and everyone thought I was so cute.  I ate a huge dinner of chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and corn.  I ate so much that Daddy and Mimz had to laugh.  Daddy had to go back to work, so I played with Mimz this evening and after several stories was asleep by 8:20pm.

Barbara had an easy but long drive home to Bella Vista.  She has a bad cold but was not going to let that stop her from driving home.
She found Great Grandpa John working on a jigsaw puzzle.  Grandma was playing Bookworm on the computer.  This is the first time Barbara did not bring her computer so they will have a fun time figuring out how the three of them will share one computer.
