Early this morning PaPa and Uncle Andy, and one of the Laplante cousins all flew to meet in Florida to go fishing.

I slept until after 8am, so Mommy had already left for work.  I had to hurry to get ready to wave to the school bus at 8:23 and leave for school at 8:25am.  But we had a problem:  Barbara’s car battery was dead.  She then remembered that yesterday she noticed her car lights on and she turned them off, not thinking anything of it.  Well, it must have been enough to make the battery not work this morning.   Neighbor Brad had left for work earlier than normal so he was not here to help.  Neighbor Mark did help us when he got home.  So we got the car fixed, but by then it was way too late to go to school.

The painters were here for a couple of hours doing a few finishing touches.  Barbara and I did an inspection and found only a couple of things for them to touch up.  We still had the windows open and fans going to help get rid of the paint smell.
These pictures were taken after my bath.
I am wearing an outfit of my choice.  Mimz said a funny thing about this picture:  “In twenty years he will be Mr. September on the Fireman’s Calendar.”

Still no television.  I miss the television but I stayed happy since Barbara is good about keeping me occupied.  She misses my having the television to watch.  It entertains me so she can do other things without my wanting to help her.   But really I often will play by myself for a period of time.  Barbara will call AT&T when I am asleep or not here because I will not be quiet and wait patiently for her attention.

I am getting good at helping load and unload the dishwasher, and doing laundry.  By the time I am big enough to do it myself, I will know how to do both of those jobs.

I either don’t want to eat or I eat big time.  I ate breakfast, but did not want lunch, and then I loved the crab meat Mommy had for dinner.  I relished a snack of Frito's with ice cream as the dip.  I had to wait for Halloween candy until Mommy got home.  Barbara won’t give me any.

Mommy and I were both asleep before 8pm.
