Mommy dumped a load of warm clothes from the dryer on top of me and I enjoyed that.
There was a work truck parked in our dead end street. I wanted to know what the cones were all about.
The cones are almost as tall as I am! I got a haircut later today.I made the comment that: "Santa Claus won't get stuck in the mud. He flies over the ground." I am always thinking.
Normally I enjoy the ride to school. Today, almost as soon as we left home, I started whimpering that I did not want to see anybody. I said, "Let's turn around and go home." I could not give a reason. Barbara tried to entertain me during the trip and make me be happy, but I did not forget that I did not want to go to school. We made a mistake and forgot to bring my sneakers for me to change from cowboy boots to sneakers right before we got to school, so we stopped at Mimz' home to pick up a pair of sneakers there. Even Mimz could not make me happy. I cried really hard going into school.
While Barbara was changing me from cowboy boots to sneakers the school helper asked my teachers if it was okay to wear cowboy boots to school. The teachers said it was fine. Well, Barbara did not think that was right, so when she got home she got on-line and read the school policy about clothing. It clearly states that hard-soled cowboy boots are NOT allowed. Barbara is sure glad she went ahead and changed me to sneakers or it would be very hard in the future to get me to believe that I could not wear my boots to school. I would wear them every day if it was allowed.
Mommy picked me up from school and we went to Mimz' park for 30 minutes. I played on lots of the big boy pieces of playground equipment. Sophie gave me a haircut. Barbara forgot to ask for pictures, so there are none. My haircut is cute.
You can see my hair cut in this picture.
Mommy and Grandma went to a flooring store to discuss our flooring situation. The saleslady said it would be December 11th at the earliest before they could start installation and it would take two weeks. They have not made a deal yet, but are getting closer every day. There is really no hurry. We are managing to live quite comfortably downstairs.
A policeman and his family are moving in with Brad, our driveway neighbor, for a few months while their new home is being built. They have a 5 month old baby and a three-year-old boy name Luke who will be four in February. I hope we get to play together a bunch.
Since we will not be getting our new floor installed this month, Barbara is trying to work out a plan so she can go home to Arkansas for over a week.
PaPa flew to Nigeria today to work for a month.
