It was spitting rain but I played out on my patio anyway.  I wanted to wear jeans even though it was hot outside...

...I wanted to wear my boots but Barbara would not let me because it was wet outside...
Okay, I had enough and was ready to come inside.  Barbara sat in a chair and watched me through this glass door.
I built a tower of Play Dough cans...
 ... and down it came...
...easy come, easy go!
I did not have a fever last night or this morning but I do have an appointment with Dr. Lacour because I have had a fever several times over the last eleven days.
It is a tradition for me to sit on this seat every time I go to Dr. Lacour's office.  While I was up there I  was asking Barbara what things were.  One of the things I asked about was a red FIRE alarm.  She told me if there was a fire, fireman would come to put out the fire.  I said in a loud voice,  "fireman come, fireman come here, right NOW????"  The office workers and other adults heard me and they all thought it was funny how excited I was at the idea of fireman coming right NOW!While we were waiting in the examination room, I sat on Dr. Lacour's stool and we played like I was Dr. Watson. I started by shaking Barbara's hand.   I examined her ears, eyes, nose, and mouth.  I listened to her heart.  I said she was fine, shook her hand and she was ready to leave.  Except we had to play this about four more times.  And guess what::: when Dr. Lacour examined me, he checked the same things I checked when I was the doctor!
Dr. Lacour said my fever eleven days ago might have been viral and turned into an ear infection in both of my ears.  The official diagnoses is Otitis media.  Last November I had an ear infection and the first antibiotic I took did not get rid of it but the second one did, so my prescription this time is for the one that worked last time: Cefixime PO SUSP 3.8 mL by mouth daily for 10 days.   An interesting thing about that prescription.  The cost of one small little bottle would normally be $280.00 but Dr. Lacour gave us a coupon so it was only $25.00  Wow..  Thank goodness.
I have an appointment on June 13 at 9:40 for a follow up to make sure the ear infection is gone.
My temperature was 98.1.  My height was 37.75 (74.39 Percentile).  My weight was 31.4 pounds  (56.57 percentile).
We told Dr. Lacour about my getting lots of insect bites when no one else will.  He said that is very common.  He recommended either Off! Skintastic Family Insect Repellent or Avon Skin So Soft insect repellent.
Also after gets bites can rub on both Benadryl Itch stopping cream and Hydrocortisone 1% ointment to help healing.
I fell asleep on the drive home.  I woke up shortly before Daddy came to pick me up after work.
I love climbing the litte hill to this big old tree and would never really cut it down...
...but I had fun pretending to use my chainsaw on it.
