Barbara and I  played a new pretend game today: barber shop.  I was the customer getting my hair cut, washed, dried, brushed and hairsprayed.  We used a baby receiving blanket as a cape, and my little brushes and combs as our tools.  We used a real hairdryer, but not plugged in.... or I would have had nothing to do with the game since I do not like the noise they make.  I must have gotten a dozen haircuts today.  I loved playing barber shop.
We read Richard Scarry's Best Word Book Ever today.  It was one of Mommy's books when she was a toddler.  It has 1400 objects and I recognize most of them.
We made another megablock balance beam and I can still walk it most of the time without falling off.
Daddy came over after he got off work.  He took Mommy and me to get Chinese take out for dinner.  I ate some of everybody's food.
Bridget drove here from San Antonio after she got off work.  She was happy to see me and I sure was glad to see her.
Barbara and I put on a show for everyone.  We showed them how I play on my balance beam and car ramp/mountain, and how we play barber shop.
It was 10pm before I finally allowed myself to go to sleep.  I sleep most every night all night long in my little toddler bed.  A couple of times I have walked into Barbara's room and gotten in her bed but mostly I stay in my own little bed.
