I woke up at 5:15 with a slight fever (under 100).  Barbara gave me some more Ibuprofen and I went back to sleep and my fever did go away while I slept.  I slept until 9:20am.  Good thing I was not going to school or I would have been really late.
PaPa came over to play with me.  I watched him groom Maggie before he took her home with him.
I enjoy rubbing my hands together to make soap bubbles.
I felt good all morning and ate a good lunch, but by noon I was getting another fever.
I had an appointment with Dr. Lacour at 1:30 to find out what was wrong with me.
I got in to see the doctor right on time.  I weighed 28 pounds on the doctor's scales and I had a low grade fever.  I was not scared to see Dr. Lacour this time.  He checked my ears and nose and from all the symptoms Barbara told him, he could tell that I had some allergies, which caused me to have ear infections, which caused the low grade fever.  I have more infections in my right ear than I do in my left ear.
He gave us a prescription for CEFDINIR, an antibiotic,  for my ear infections, which I am to take for 10 days, then throw away the remainder.  It must be SHAKEN WELL and kept at room temperature and cool.  I am to have 1/2 tsp once a day for 10 days.  Take with food.
For my allergies I am to take Zyrtec or a generic if can't find Zyrtec, 1 tsp once a day for 10 days.  And next time I start to get the symptoms, take it again.  If Zyrtec doesn't help I can try Allegra 1 tsp 2 times a day.  If neither of these help call the doctor's office.
I can keep on taking Ibuprofen for pain and fever.
We talked about all the rashes I have been having.  I started Mother's Day Out in June, got Roseola in July, Scarletina in August, and other rashes and insect bites that linger.  Dr. Lacour said I am normal.  If a child goes to daycare they will catch things all the time.  The Triamcinolone Acetonide we got last time we were here is good for my rashes and bites.
Back home, Barbara gave me Ibuprofen to start bringing down my fever.
At dinner time she gave me the ear infection medicine and at 7pm she gave me the Zyrtec.  I took it all like a trooper.
I woke up at 9:20am and did not take a nap.  I finally fell asleep at 8:40.  I was in a good mood all day, even though I could not have been feeling great.
Here I am watching Caillou...again.
