Winter is here. It froze here last night and there was some ice on the bushes and grass and on car windows. Daddy had to work late so we spent the night at Mimz, which is a treat for her. I slept until after 7am and Mimz fixed me a nice warm breakfast. I was happy and ready and willing to go to school. At first I did not want to put on my hat but Mimz told me it would keep my ears warm. I can be reasonable if things are explained to me.
I had a good day at school and ate all of my lunch except for a few raisins. I ate those on the trip home. When I got home from school Maggie, Barbara and I played in the backyard. The temperature was in the 40s but the wind was not blowing so it was pleasant.
Looking at the slide show of family pictures on the computer, with Barbara narrating, put me to sleep for my nap. It works every time.
I put my hat back on my head as soon as I woke up from my nap. I wore it to the dinner table. I have not been told yet that you do not wear hats at the table... or inside for that matter.
I am getting good at rolling balls instead of throwing them wildly. Mommy, Barbara, and I rolled a ball for several minutes between us and I never missed a one.
Mommy won two gifts at her Bingo Christmas party last night and both of them are for me. A cookie and milk set for me to put out for Santa Claus and a set of 14 ornaments that depict the Nativity scene that will be perfect for my own little tree.
