Happy 85th birthday, Great Grandmother Lil! Mimz and Aunt Kathy had dinner with her. I bet she enjoyed that.
I slept in my bed most of the night but spent the last part of it in bed with Mommy. She loves to cuddle with me. Guess what I did first thing in the morning? Ask to eat, of course.
I missed school last week because of my allergies and I have not been keen on the idea of going back to school. Barbara thought it might help if I helped fix my lunch, so I sat on the counter and helped get it all put together and packed. I think that did help me get prepared for going to school today.
I waved bye to Mommy, she honked her car horn at me. While Barbara and I waited for the school bus to come by she pulled me in my wagon around our dead end street several times. We waved to the school bus, then I climbed into my car seat all by myself. We drove to school, driving by Mimz house for a moment. When we left Mimz home, we honked our car horn at her. She liked that.
I was just a little reluctant going into school, but glad to be there at the same time.
After school and a nap I helped Barbara clean the hardwood floors. Mommy is having a party tomorrow and we want the house to look nice. When Mommy got home she cleaned bathrooms while we carried on a long conversation. She sure wishes she knew what I was saying.
I had another day with no "terrible two" incidents. Maybe it is when I do not feel real well that I whine and get upset when things do not go my way.
