Great Grandmother Lil is still in the hospital.  I hope she is not feeling too bad and gets to go home soon.
I am 29 months old today and I weigh 31 pounds.  I know this because I had an appointment with Dr. Lacour this morning because I have been coughing for a week.  I am almost over the cough but we wanted to see what we needed to do to get me completely well.
It is a tradition that I get up on this high seat every time I come to Dr. Lacour's office.
While we waited for over 30 minutes in the exam room I played with all the magnets on the wall.

I played Dr. Lacour's seat like it was a drum.
Dr. Lacour said my ears and lungs were clear.  My heart was good.  He said I had a head cold and I still had some mucus to get rid of so he gave me two prescriptions.  "Mucinex Cold" -- 3/4 teaspoon 4 times a day is the day time medicine to help get rid of the mucus.   The night time one is to help me sleep if I need it.  it is a prescription for Cheratussin AC syrup.  I am to have 3.8 ml at bedtime.
He was glad to hear that I have added lots of words to my vocabulary in the past five months.
H said it was very normal for children my age to be picky eaters and to eat just a couple of bites and be finished and at some meals eat to their meals and then want more.  He said if I ate most foods, including fruits and vegetables, vitamins were not necessary but okay if they made my parents feel better.  They make expensive pee.
I got tired waiting at Walgreen's to get my prescription filled and I was crying and not a happy camper.  I was glad to get home to eat lunch and lay down for a nap.  But before I got to sleep PaPa came over and I was overjoyed at the prospect of helping him in the yard.
PaPa used a spreader to put down some yard stuff and I used my umbrella stroller do do the same.
Our Knockout roses are starting to bloom... spring will be here soon.
Today at work birds COVERED Mommy's car with "stuff" and it had to be washed today!...
So PaPa and I washed it.
I helped wash the drivers side ...
...and I played while PaPa washed the passenger side.
Over and over I got my hands covered in soap ....
...then I would splatter it everywhere.  Oh, what fun!

During this time four people honked their horns at me:  Nicole, Mr. Mark, a school bus driver, and Papa.   The all made me happy.
On February 15th Great Grandmother Avis had surgery on a spot on her nose that would not heal.  She had to wear a big bandage on it for a week.
Today she got the big bandage off and got a good report from the doctor.  My Great-great aunt Peggy Bates sent GGM a flower bouquet.  These pictures were taken over the web cam.
