Barbara left for the morning so Mommy and I could have some alone time. We played hard and had a fun bath with a tub full of toys.
We went to a one-year-old girl's birthday party. Mommy works with Stella's dad. At first I was shy, but in just a few minutes I was playing with Stella's brother's trucks. I ate chicken nuggets and a cupcake. I wanted to open the presents, but Mommy explained that they were for Stella, so I waited until the presents were open, then I played with some of the toys.
Barbara and I read books with a lot of discussion, until she decided it was time for me to get up and play. I have a long attention span when it comes to reading. We made the letters P, M, D, and B out of Play Dough. Barbara's knee was hurting so I could not convince her to ride trucks with me. I had to ride all around the living room by myself, except Mommy and Barbara would talk about the places I was going: to church, to play with Landry, to the store for milk, beans, and strawberries, and (of course) to wash PaPa's truck at the lake. I also would eat some pretend apple, then I was supposed to take Mommy an apple, but when I got close to her, I would gobble it down myself. We are so silly!
