Happy Independence Day to our country!
I had an early start, eating breakfast and getting dressed in my red, white, and blue swim trunks.
While waiting for PaPa, I played Jeopardy with Grandma.
 PaPa and I went fishing...
While waiting for PaPa to get our fishing pools ready, I contemplated what a great country I live in.
We did not get any bites, but had fun anyway...
You should have heard me telling Mommy...
about the fish that got away.
I can tell some whoppers!
Next I went to the grocery store with PaPa to get food for our cookout later today.  PaPa said I was a champ at the store.
Grandma, Barbara and I got in the swimming pool.  Grandma said the water was cold because we had very little sunshine the past three days.  After we got used to it, it was no longer cold and I had lots of fun.
Mommy and PaPa tried to launch the boat but the water level was too low.  Better luck next time.
Back in the house we ate some lunch and read some books but it wasn't long before I wanted to be outside again.
I picked some blue flowers for Grandma.
I was asking to get back in the pool.
I have had this zoo hat since I was a baby and it still fits.
In the afternoon it was Grandma and PaPa who got in the pool with me.  I was slathered in sun screen four times today and some insect repellent was put on me too.
Mommy thought I might fall asleep after all that outdoor play but I was having too much fun.
PaPa grilled some hamburgers and some chicken for our dinner.  He even fixed us a to-go box.  Yummy!
If I was outside and not in the boat or swimming pool, I was carrying around a "blower" using it to clean up the yard.  Below are pictures showing me busy with my blower.

Below are 8 short videos:
I had some little fireworks to either throw or step on to make a popping sound.
Talking about a neighbor getting on his jet ski.
Jumping into pool to Grandma.
Swimming with PaPa's help.

Blowing bubbles.
Jumping for joy!
End of the day and time to go home.  We knew I would fall asleep on the trip home, so Barbara brought me home in her car and Mommy went to a store to buy me some new sneakers.  My old ones are shot.  And yes, I did fall asleep three minutes into the car trip home.  They say they can tell when I am about to fall asleep in the car, I get a glazed look in my eyes and in just a few minutes my eyes are closed.  Also I quit talking when I am about to go to sleep.
I could get my feet into my new sneakers but there was no room for growth, so Mommy will exchange them.  We had to figure out how to fix my old sneakers so I could wear them one more time.  We tried glue but that did not work.  Sewing would have been an good choice except that it was too tough to get the needle through the shoe material.  The answer was using stables to fix the Velcro that was coming apart.
There was no way I could go to sleep with all the racket that was going on outside.  Mommy and I went outside to watch all the fireworks in our neighborhood.  Somebody spent a lot of money on some big fireworks.  I cried when we came inside but soon I realized I was very sleepy and even loud bangs could not keep me awake.
