It was a routine day but a long one since I knew that as soon as Mommy got home we were going to the lake to spend the holiday with Grandma and PaPa.
Barbara bought two fun little apps ($1 and $2) for her iPhone for me. I liked them both and played all parts of both of them. One was about The Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round. The other was about vehicles: tow truck, car wash, construction trucks, garbage trucks and traffic. What could make me happier than something having to do with vehicles? Answer: not much!
I woke up from my nap about the same time Mommy got home. We loaded up Mommy's car and Barbara's too and we headed to the lake so I could help PaPa work and play with him... and to play with Grandma too...
Around 8:30 we went to Grandma's bosses home just a couple blocks away to watch the fireworks across the lake. It was just right, we could hear the noisy booms but they were not super loud. Pretty fireworks of all colors.
Since Independence Day is in the middle of the week, Bridget decided not to drive in from San Antonio since she only had the one day off work. Andy and Kristan are in South Carolina at a family reunion for Kristan's family. Andy's company closed down for the week so he is on vacation all week.
