PaPa's plane arrived at 7am bringing him home from his job in Nigeria.  He and Grandma drove straight to my home to see me and to meet with Ricardo, the painter.  He has painted for Grandma several times.  I wanted to be upstairs listening and seeing what they were talking about.

PaPa wanted to take me to McDonald's, the grocery store, and then to the lake, but I did not want to leave home.  I don't know why and neither did anyone else.  Barbara and I played just like we do every day.  We did go upstairs to my old big toy room and she told me a long story Izzy and several of our friends going to the country to visit Izzy's farmer grandparents.

My eyes were not watering and my nose was not runny quite as much as it did the day before.  I did get some allergy medicine around 9am.

Today was the first really cold weather day we have had this autumn and I really did need to wear a long-sleeved shirt and jeans.  A funny thing: my jeans were a size 18 months and they fit my hips just fine, but they were about 4 inches too short.  Mommy said don't let him leave the house in those pants.  She bought me some new jeans today.  They fit much better.

Grandma came over to help Mommy work on packing the last of the things in her craft room.  So we would not be in the way, Barbara and I drove to the lake.  PaPa was not there when we arrived.  He was at the airport picking up Uncle Tim.  When they did get home, I was in the bathtub having a grand old time making waves.

Uncle Tim was very impressed with how well I could talk, but he had seen me just a couple of months ago in Vermont so he was not totally surprised.

At 9pm, I asked Barbara to tell me a bedtime story.  She said she would if I was ready to get in bed.  I said okay and as soon as the story was told, I turned over and went right to sleep. This story was mainly about the color socks Doc and Izzy wore to Bounce Bears.  I chose the topic, as you can tell.
