Grandma played bingo in our neighborhood last night so she spent the night at my home.  She helped me get dressed for school while Barbara fixed my breakfast and packed my lunch.  Mommy was packing for a trip to Austin this evening.  She and Grandma are going to scrapbook for three days.
My trip to school was uneventful, but the trip home was lots of fun.
Me on drive home from school.  I saw that a policeman had a car pulled over and I quizzed Barbara over and over about it.  She made up a story about the lady driving to fast and the policeman telling her she needed to slow down so she could better see any little children that might run into the street.
Next we stopped at a light and watched a cement truck pouring concrete.  We talked about that for a couple of minutes, until we saw a big flatbed truck hauling a big tractor and big lawn mower.
That was the biggest lawnmower I had ever seen.
It rained on the drive home and I so wanted to play in the rain, but it was lightening and I was told I it was not safe to be outside during lightening.  But I did get to play in the garage with the doors open.
 Me hiding behind an umbrella....
 Surprise!  Here I am!
Here I am modeling my helmet.
ProLawn came to mow and as usual I watched their every move from upstairs windows.  They saw me watching them and they waved a couple of times.
I fell asleep on a drive to met Grandma.  Guess when I will not fall asleep for an afternoon nap, Barbara should just put me in the car and drive a few minutes.
Not an hour after Mommy left for Austin, I hit my head and I cried and cried.  We made an ice pack using some frozen green peas which for a minute I held up to my forehead.
Then I started eating the ice pack.  There was no broken skin and it did not make a bump, so maybe I cried longer and harder than was warranted.
A funny story: Mommy called to check on me while on her drive to Austin.  She asked me what I was doing, I told her I was eating a fig newton.  She asked me what I was going to do next.  I knew immediately and I told her, "Eat another one." That made Mommy, Grandma, and Barbara laugh.
