One of the first things I said to Mimz this morning was "my ear hurts."  I refused to eat and wanted to sit on Mimz lap. I didn't have fever but Daddy and Mimz agreed that I should see a doctor. Any little thing made me cry so they knew something was going on. My appointment was late in the afternoon because Mimz had to take GGM Lil to a doctor's appointment first.  We saw Dr. Broxton and by this time I was crying about everything they did or ask me to do.  The first thing she noticed was the swelling and redness in my right eye caused by allergies.  She checked both ears and said I had swimmers ear in my right ear. She gave me a prescription for four drops to be used twice daily in my right ear  The prescription was for Ciprodex Otic Suspension. 
The drops will help reduce the swelling and the swelling was what was making it hurt.  She also suggested we use Allegra for my allergies. When we left the doctor's office I finally said I was hungry so Mimz took me to McDonald's while we waited on prescriptions. I ate all four chicken nuggets and a few fries, first time I had eaten more than a few bites in a couple of days.  I played outside after we got home but I wasn't my usual little go,go,go guy. I finally decided it was hot, so we came inside to watch Fireman Sam until Daddy picked him up.
A funny thing:  Mimz and Daddy put drops in my right ear and I cried because they would not put them in my left ear.  One minute before I was crying because I did not want drops in any ear!
I had a very short nap because of my doctor's appointment but at 9:30pm I was still awake.
