Just received this picture taken at the lantern release Julie and Amy attended:

Routine morning getting off to school. Routine day at school.  I played with Hannah and the other children.  I ate all of my lunch.  I just had a good time.  Barbara told me we needed to get some milk and a couple other things from Wal-Mart and I agreed to be a good boy.  I willingly sat in the grocery cart and was happy to get two cookies from the bakery lady.  It was a quick and painless trip.

The first thing I wanted when we got home was a cup of chocolate milk.  Lately I want that over white milk or apple juice.  Barbara and I listened to some country music while we read a couple of books, then I laid down on my pallet and was asleep within a minute.

A few days ago I was very angry at Barbara.  She took off my boots and my socks were pretty smelly so she took off my socks.  I cried and cried that I wanted those socks back on.  Barbara would not let me have them.  She offered clean socks but I refused.  I must have cried for ten minutes.  Well, I did not get my smelly socks back but I did retaliate.  I went into my room and emptied the contents of my sock drawer all over the floor.  I also threw all of my big boy pants on the floor.  So there...!

I will be three-years-old on Friday.  I made it through the Terrible Two year with very few episodes of terrible-ness.  Well, maybe I am just slow getting started... I say that because today I had three, maybe four, tantrums.   I would not get my way about something I would start crying hard, maybe throw things, or hit somebody.  It was not pretty and nobody liked it.  We all hope this is a very short lived stage.
