I had to get ready for school but kept insisting on putting on my cowboy boots instead of my sneakers.  Mommy made a deal with me.  I could wear my boots until Barbara got me to school, then I had to be willing to change into my sneakers.  I agreed to that and when it was time I took off my boots and put on my sneakers.  A part of the deal was that I could put my boots back on as soon as I was back in the car.... which I did.
When Barbara came to pick my up we were still playing outside.  As soon as I saw her I said, "NO."
I did not want to leave school.   My teacher told Barbara I had a great day at school, and it said that on my daily report card also.   Last time Mimz came to pick me up I did not want to leave school that day either.  Everyone is glad I am enjoying school.

As soon we drove into the driveway, I was asking to be allowed to drive Barbara's car, so I did that for an hour.  We came inside for a snack and to play with my new kitchen for about an hour, then we went back outside to play for the rest of the afternoon.  I napped from 4:30 to 6:30.  I played with Play Dough, read some story books, and drove trucks around my big toy room the rest of the evening. It was 10:30 before I went to sleep.  This was a very good day.
