During the holidays Mommy, Grandma, PaPa, Barbara, GGF and GGM, Bridget, and I all caught a cold. I think I had it first. Sorry everyone. Well, now Mimz has it. Hope Mimz gets to feeling better soon.
Today was a marathon play day. First Mr and Mrs Potato Head, followed by tool set, grilled some hot dogs and eggplant, Play Dough. Then PaPa came over to hang a new window blind. I helped him while Barbara went to the grocery store. PaPa carried my new kitchen upstairs so we would have all my toys together. After Papa left we rearranged a few of my toys and cleaned up the play room so we could start playing again after my nap. We laid down on Barbara's bed to read and in less than ten minutes I was asleep at 2:45pm.
I slept three hours and woke up hungry as a bear. I ate stuffed green pepper filling, mac and cheese, and some of Mommy's rice and asparagus. The only thing I did not want to eat was Mommy's fish, which I generally eat. Guess I was already stuffed. Later I wanted more, so I had grits and raisin toast.
We played with my Play Dough again. Barbara says it is much more fun than when she was a little girl because all she had to shape with was her hands. I have molds and a little machine that makes all kinds of ropes. Fun, fun, fun. I have a neat table that Daddy gave me long ago on which to play Play Dough. It is just the right height for me to stand and mash, mold, and model.
I love to sit on the kitchen counter and help cook. The only problem with that is I want to do it EVERY time someone is cooking and they don't always want to take the time to let me help. And if I don't get my way there is a scene.
One of my Christmas gifts was still in its plastic packaging so I ran out of the room and returned with scissors from Barbara's desk. I know I cannot play with or use scissors. I did not know I could not go get them for someone else to use. Barbara says now she will have to find a new home for her scissors.
