I was awake at 6:30 ready to eat and go to school.   Because I woke up early and was so willing to get dressed for school we were ready about 30 minutes early so we got in Barbara's car and I played driver until we saw the school bus coming to pick up the big kids that wait for it on our corner.  I got out of the car and waved really excitedly, then I climbed into my car seat and enjoyed the drive to school.  We see lots and lots of school buses on the journey.  On the 30 minute drive to school we talked about many of the things we saw: many American flags, bicyclists, stop signs, traffic lights, trucks, school buses, clouds, the wind, left turns, right turns, fire stations, men working, and other things that I cannot think of right now.
Barbara fixed some pistachio pudding.  I ate a little and was not really sure I liked it.  After I try it a couple more times I will realize it is pretty good tasting.
I called Papa to chat and he called me once to chat.  We have developed a nice little bond.  I always ask about his truck.  I always ask if he has on socks and shoes.  I always want everyone to have on socks or both socks and shoes.  In one of my books the boy and girl have taken off their socks and shoes so they can wiggle their toes.  I whine every time I see that picture, I want them to put them back on.When I visit on the web cam with GGM Avis and GGF John I ask to see their feet, so I can know that they are not barefooted.  If Barbara takes off her socks or shoes, I often tell her to put them back on.  What a funny boy I am.
Oh, another first: I pulled a stool out from under the bathroom counter, climbed up on it, then climbed onto the counter.  When Barbara found me I had put soap on my hands and I was rubbing them together.  Oh, what a good boy am I!...  The stool is now in the closet.
Today was a lovely day so I played in the backyard with Maggie.  I ended up with several insect bites.  Why am I the only person who gets bitten?  Mommy says they like my soft baby skin.
I said, "Thank you" again.  Mommy heard me.  I smiled and was pleased that I had anther new word in my vocabulary.
